Regarding OSP Items Interface Details

Hi All,
I am working on OSP Items Interface
Acctually What is OSP & Which module have this Interface
(Inventory,WIP,Enterprise Asset Management),
and what is the use of this interface i am fully unknown
Whats mandotary column for that & what CONCURRENT PROGRAM
i have to run for transfer data from INTERFACE TABLE to BASE TABLE
if anybody have Documents & Idea regarding that pls help me.
In Which module documents pdf i can get details for that.

Hi Vinod,

Functionality i can tell u,

OSP is used for subcontracting purpose .

For Ex. Company Manufacturing any finished assembly or Product with three operations lets say cutting10.welding20,painting30. but out of these only 10, 20 will in the company premises and painting operations is outsourced to outside vendor , That time company send material outside with 57f4 Challon to the vendor and after completing the operations , that assembly again get received at shopfloor and job get completed.

 

Modules involed in this process is

Inventory

BOM

WIP

 

and used in EAM also
