Generate PO by API

Hi Girish,

Why you want to create PO by API..?

You can create PO by 'Import Standard Purchase Orders' concurent program.

Just insert mendatory and your required data into po_headers_interface,po_lines_interface and po_distributions_interface tables.

then call open import program.

You can view or cancel an accepted ASN as an intransit shipment in the Maintain Shipments window.

Hi Ajay,

We have implemented Demantra and ASCP and integrated it with EBS, and we are running collection on weekly basis.

If the po line location status is closed and out of 1000 qty 900 is shipped and 100 is left then that we are considering as open ASN. Ans the volume becomes huge by weekend of such ASN. To cancel each ASN manually takes a lot of time, we have tried a program for cancellation but in po_interface_errors error coming as "An error occurred while trying to split lot and serial lines."

Attached ASN cancel progrma which we are trying now and succesfully failing till now.

Please help us to close this.

Do you have serial control or lot control enabled for the item which you are receiving through PO.

Hi Venkata

PFA for the Information about ASN functionality and refer the Note ID number given in the document as reference and you will also

get the script for cancelling ASN.

If item control (Serial,Lot) is enabled for the item then your pkg should have validation for exact serial or lot number of item for the partial quantity.
