About the Role

 

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our growing technology team in New York. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.

 

Qualifications

 

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

·         7-12 years of hands-on experience with Java (Java 8 or later).

·         Strong understanding of OOP concepts, design patterns, and software architecture principles.

·         Experience with Spring / Spring Boot frameworks.

·         Proficiency with RESTful APIs, JSON, and microservices-based development.

·         Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and ORM tools like Hibernate or JPA.

·         Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.

·         Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

 

Preferred:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
