We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to join a high-impact project with the State of Virginia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading quality assurance initiatives, establishing testing standards, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions across the SDLC.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:
• Define and manage overall QA and testing strategy across projects and releases
• Lead test planning, execution, and reporting for functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and traceability matrices
• Coordinate QA activities with internal teams and third-party vendors
• Ensure alignment between requirements, test coverage, and acceptance criteria
• Manage defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution
• Establish QA standards, best practices, templates, and governance processes
• Oversee test environments, test data preparation, and release readiness assessments
• Provide risk-based testing recommendations and release go/no-go decisions

🔹 Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance
• 3+ years of experience as a QA Lead or Test Lead
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies
• Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools
• Experience leading UAT and collaborating with business stakeholders
• Experience in clinical healthcare environments

🔹 Preferred Skills:
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Experience establishing QA/testing programs, standards, and procedures
• Ability to work in a collaborative onsite environment
