JOB DESCRIPTION : 

Responsibilities
We are seeking experienced Guidewire Developers with strong expertise in Commercial Lines to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of PolicyCenter solutions. In this role, you will work on configuring and enhancing Guidewire PolicyCenter to support Commercial Lines products including General Liability and Commercial Package policies. You will be responsible for building and customizing key components such as coverages, exposures, modifiers, conditions, product models, and policy lifecycle workflows from submission through renewal. The role involves developing PCF screens, writing business rules using Gosu, and extending the data model to meet business needs. You will collaborate closely with business analysts, product owners, subject matter experts, and QA teams to ensure high quality delivery, actively participate in Agile ceremonies, support user acceptance testing, and resolve defects while contributing to code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skill

  • Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration and development
  • Proven expertise in Commercial Lines including General Liability and Commercial Package policies
  • Experience in configuring PCF screens, business rules, and data model extensions
  • Proficiency in Gosu scripting
  • Solid understanding of the policy lifecycle from submission to issuance and renewal

Desired Skill

  • Experience working with Guidewire Cloud Platform
  • Knowledge of rating configuration within Guidewire
  • Prior experience in US Property and Casualty insurance domain
  • Ability to work effectively in Agile environments with strong collaboration and problem solving skills
