Expertise in the following areas is desired: Splunk, Hadoop and REST APIs Experience with Linux operating system and platforms Experience with shell scripts and automation (Perl, Python, BASH etc.) Experience with visualization tools (tableau) and Splunk integration with Hadoop Experience upgrading, versioning, change control and problem management Experience with High Availability and DR requirements for Big Data architectures/platforms Knowledge of JVM and multi-threaded processing. Experience with supporting and maintaining open source environments Experience with evaluating and implementing security technologies and policies that meet security standards and controls.
