Title:                    System (QA) Analyst – Oracle EBS tester

Location:            Tustin, CA

Type:                   Contract            

Duration:           12-18 months

 

SUMMARY: 

The System Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for testing all aspects of enterprise systems, applications, and customizations. The Analyst will work with Oracle functional team and other IT teams to perform system unit testing.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform enterprise system function testing, follow test scripts, expend test scenarios repeat number of transactions.
• Log and document defects found during testing, work with functional and technical teams to certify issues and retest solutions.
• Work with business users to understand defects and test solutions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Ability to follow instruction, perform testing with thoroughness.
• Ability to analyze test results and write log and document.
• Collaborates well with internal and external resources, ability to work directly with IT partners and consultants. 
• Written, oral, and listening communication skills
• Willingness to work occasional nights and weekends as needed.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Familiarity with software languages and SQL knowledge, can write select statements (including semi-complex joins) to query data at rest in the database or files.
• Oracle EBS hands-on functional experience.
