Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AS/400 Synon Developer to support application development, maintenance, and enhancement activities in an IBM i/AS400 environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using Synon/2E on the AS/400/iSeries platform.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform coding, testing, debugging, and production support.
• Work with RPG, CL, DB2/400 and related AS/400 technologies.
• Troubleshoot application issues and resolve production defects.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and technical teams.
• Prepare technical documentation and support application modernization initiatives.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with AS/400 / IBM i development.
• Experience with Synon/2E (CA 2E) development.
• Knowledge of RPG/RPGLE, CL/CLLE, and DB2 for i.
• Experience with application maintenance, enhancements, debugging, and production support.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and collaboration skills.
