Job Title : Sr. Network Admin (CCIE certified but not required)
Location: North Houston, TX
Duration: 12+ months

 

Client is moving from Cisco to Juniper - so someone who has HEAVY experience on both Cisco and Juniper is a must, PLUS work experience in a large Oil & Gas company will be the best

 

fit for this position.
Provide WAN networking infrastructure support globally, including recovery and restoration in event of a disaster or major incident, change management, security & controls tasks, and

 

participation in the
Follow the Sun On-Call Rotation for 24x7 break/fix support

 

Requirements:
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) level knowledge or higher (certification preferred)
Strong knowledge of Cisco hardware, IOS, routing, switching, and wireless deployment
Ability to work collaboratively on advanced Cisco technology and solutions
Willingness to learn new network related technologies by a wide range of vendors
Willing to be flexible and help cover on-call off-hour and weekend shifts
Willing to operate within compliance of formal process
Strong work ethic
Good communication skills
Good interpersonal skills/team player

 

Extras:
Knowledge or experience with of Juniper – Junos
Knowledge or experience with Microsoft LYNC
