SAP S/4HANA Test Manager
Location :: Hybrid, 3 Days onsite, Irving, Texas
Duration: 6 months
Job
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Testing
Strategy & Planning
- Define
and implement the overall SAP S/4HANA testing strategy across all
functional streams.
- Develop
detailed test plans, schedules, and resource allocations for each phase of
testing (Unit, SIT, UAT, Regression).
- Ensure
alignment of testing strategy with program goals and timelines.
- Team
Leadership & Coordination
- Lead
and manage cross-functional testing teams including OTC, Finance,
P2P/Supply Chain, Master Data, and BW.
- Coordinate
with functional leads to ensure test coverage and readiness.
- Mentor
and guide test leads and testers on best practices and SAP
S/4HANA-specific testing approaches.
- Test
Execution & Quality Assurance
- Oversee
execution of test cases, defect management, and resolution tracking.
- Ensure
high-quality test deliverables including test scripts, test data, and test
results documentation.
- Monitor
test progress and proactively address risks and issues.
- Metrics
& Governance
- Define
and track key testing metrics (e.g., test coverage, defect density,
pass/fail rates).
- Establish
governance processes for test reporting, defect triage, and escalation.
- Provide
regular status updates and dashboards to program leadership and
stakeholders.
- Collaboration
& Stakeholder Management
- Work
closely with Program Managers, Functional Leads, Technical Teams, and
Business Stakeholders.
- Facilitate
test readiness reviews, go/no-go decisions, and signoffs.
- Act
as a single point of contact for all testing-related matters within the
program.
- Technical
& Functional Expertise
- Leverage
strong SAP S/4HANA technical and functional knowledge to validate test
scenarios and troubleshooting issues.
- Collaborate
with BASIS, Security, and Integration teams for end-to-end testing.
- Ensure
testing aligns with SAP best practices and industry standards.
- Tools
& Automation
- Recommend
and implement appropriate test management tools (e.g., Solution Manager,
qTest, TOSCA, Jira).
- Drive
test automation strategy where applicable, especially for regression
testing.
Candidate
Requirements:
- Experience:
10+ years in SAP testing, with at least 3–5 years in SAP S/4HANA programs.
- Expertise:
Strong functional knowledge in at least two SAP modules (e.g., OTC,
Finance, P2P).
- Technical
Acumen: Understanding of SAP architecture, integration, and data flows.
- Leadership:
Proven experience managing large testing teams and complex program
environments.
- Communication:
Excellent stakeholder management and reporting skills.
