SAP BW Developer
6 -12 Months
Plano, TX
Role Description:
BW development
Data modeling within HANA.
Performance tuning, and development of BW and HANA based systems.
Responsibilities:
Working closely with customers, Business Analysts, and team members to understand the business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions that are aligned with the business and IT strategies
Architecting solutions in SAP using ABAP, object-oriented programming (OOP), comprehensive debugging and performance tuning, and scalable solution design.
Remaining in compliance with the organization’s architectural standards; and application analysis, design, development, integration, and enhancement
Required Skills:
SAP ABAP programming experience in application development utilizing ABAP/PI.
Experience in BI/BW application development and implementation in SAP ECC integration, SAP BW 7.x, BEx 7.x, Enterprise Portal, Solution Manager 7.1, SAP CRM, SAP SCM, ABAP Programming, Business Objects 4.x
5 – 10 years of BW (QNotes) / SAP (Backend Developer - ECC 6.0) analytics experience.
Strong knowledge of HANA with data modeling.
Knowledge of ETL tools including BODS, SLT, IDT.
Five plus years of development in BW+abap.
Experience with BW 7.3+ on HANA
Experience building SAP HANA calculation views and SQL script
Experience with SAP SLT replication
Strong ETL knowledge with Real Time jobs, batch jobs, scheduling and Web Services.
Strong knowledge in Data Services and Data Quality transformations is must.
Good data analysis experience using SQL, analyzing redundant and inconsistent data, diagramming data flows and process flows.
Proven skills to write technical specifications for data extraction and good quality code.
Process oriented and understanding of software development & ETL best practices.
Good communication skills. Should be able to interact with business & IT teams.
