autoconfig fails on txkFrmUTF8.pl

Hi Mr. Vikram Das,
I am new to oracle apps. I am gr8 fan of
urs and love reading ur answers. And i appreciate all the help ur
doing to new guys like me. Vikram I am migratig oracle apps 11.5.10.2
with db version 10.2.0.3 from AIX to Linux. Db part is already done
and the db is up and im doing only applications. When i run autoconfig
in INSTE8_SETUP option its throwing an error at txkFrmUTF8.pl and i
have been trying to solve this for last 2 days.
And the content autoconfig log file is. Plz help me out.

Searched in metalink for the error, and found this note - 416506.1
(Failed Adconfig.Sh at txkFrmUTF8.pl)


Applies to:
Application Install - Version: 11.5.1 to 11.5.10.2
This problem can occur on any platform.
Symptoms

When attempting to run autoconfig.
the following error occurs.

Cause
The cause of this problem has been identified and verified in an
unpublished Bug 5375811 CPUJUL2006:AUTOCONFIG FAILS ON 1158 LINUX
PSEUDO ENABLED INSTANCE. It is caused by incorrect setting of
s_at_cset.
Solution
1. Please change APPL_TOP_CSET to UTF8
2. Rerun autoconfig

Hi Aditya,
Thanx for ur reply. I was away for 2 days thats y i
could not reply to u. My appltop character set is AR8MSWIN1256
(ARABIC). Base language is US and installed language is AR(ARABIC). I
tried to change the appltop character version in Context file to UTF8
and autoconfig executed successfully. But my source appltop
appl_top_cset is AR8MSWIN1256 so i am worried that if i change this to
UTF8 at target then there might be data loss and it may not work.
Could you plz tell me something about it.
