Hello Ora team/community,

I'm trying to create a dynamic meta-network by importing a table of network links using the import wizard in Ora Pro 3.0.9.119.  I  can't seem to figure out why the resulting networks are static.  I suspect an inadequate conversion of the date format in excel is causing the problem, but I can't find the solution.

Attached is a sample of the raw data I'm trying to import and screenshots of my import selections.

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks so much!

Dear Marc,

I do not have the v3.0.9.119 on hand but in the newest version (v3.0.9.190) the aggregation works as expected. I am not sure if its a bug in that older version of ORA or what else could be going on but I attached the network you were trying to create to this post.

Hope this helps,

Mihovil

Hi Marc,

As you suspected, parsing the Excel binary XLSX file might be the cause of your problems.
One thing I would try is exporting the XLSX file into a delimited text format by using Save As in Excel.
This can be imported in the Data Import Wizard in nearly the same fashion, and hopefully will work better for you.

Thanks,
Jeff

Dear Mihovil,

thanks for your answer and the produced network!  I managed to find the flaw in the import-settings that I used.

best regards,

Marc
