Big Data Software Engineer
As a Software Engineer, you will be central to integrating these technologies in a new "continuous monitoring" approach to enterprise security problems.
Technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 6-8 years of related experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Demonstrated experience within the security space, ability to integrate separate technologies and platforms to create a single insider threat analytics application for the HP customer.
Autonomy (Contextual Analytics for all sources of data; structured and unstructured i.e. text, video, audio, etc.)
Vertica (Powerful columnar database for incredibly fast processing of large volumes of data)
Mandatory Knowledge and Skills
Strong data analytic /data warehousing experience with large datasets
Experience in building administrative and user interfaces leveraging advanced graphics and user interfaces
Experience conducting demonstrations with customers
3-5 years scripting and testing tools
