September 23, 2003 Raymond Karczewski was convicted of seven felonies for
filing bogus liens against judges, DAs, and clerks in Josephine County,
Oregon.

Tomorrow, as you go about your business, please take a moment to remember
our beloved Konvicted Kazoo, divine anarchist and cartoon Christ of AFA-B.

Mr. Karczewski is deceased, as I remember?

Or did you "reanimate" him or something?

Maybe not, since that's impossible, you can't do that?
"Heh heh, yeah."

I can't "unwrite" any books I've written, then?
"That seems weird."
It's not the same principle?
"I understand what you want to say, but I don't see where it would go."

Towards the factual determinacy of US history?
"It's not so simple."
That sounds like simply "papering over" anything you wish to obscure.
"Maybe."
Intellectually and "personally" lazy, then.
"So what?"
Don't you think there are determinate facts of US history?
("Click" sound on other end of line)

Did anyone know Raymond? (No, "hearsay" doesn't count.)

"Why doesn't hearsay count?"
The reason it's not admissible in court, to a "first approximation", is that it is not a real testimony of the individual.
It's just "made-up stuff" about "the guy over there", basically.

So what were the details of Raymond's biography, then?

Do you suppose someone knows them?
"Yes."
Huh, how about that.

I do remember reading he was actually convicted of some state offenses, but was that true?
"Obviously."
How do you figure?

Jeffrey Rubard

"You could read about them in public records, and so on."
That makes sense!

"What if the public records were wrong, though?"
Why would that happen?

I wonder if I had met this Karczewski in person, though.
"You don't write it like that."
Sure you render Polish surnames like that!

to
"What do you mean?"
You don't have to put the "Mr." in front of the surname. (This is not always polite enough.)

Do you suppose his friends would remember whether he "permitted" or favored the mode of address?
"I don't know."
We don't know about a lot of things, pretty much.

Do you suppose they remember him well?
"What does that mean?"
What it means, I suppose.

"Maybe they don't."
A little speculative as a "talking point", don't you think?

...and really, wouldn't those that knew him know about his days and doings, more nearly?

Does anyone who remembers Raymond care to comment?

...or maybe you don't?
"Don't what?"
Don't remember him?

"So?"
In what way would you be "expert" about the deceased person, then?
"I would know what he would be like."
Seems a little dubious.

Sometimes we're all a little self-deceptive.
"I see."
Do you?

Simply "rubbishing" someone, like the deceased person, gives you very little insight into what they were/are like.
It's not how the "arguments" to accomplish that go together.

You learn very little in the process of trashing them, etc.

I guess we'll let the issue be at an end "on account of the holidays", etc.

Dithered Demonic Dunce reporting for duty! We have a Spiritual Pipsqueak
