does or-tools requires both pickup and delivery index

In google or-tools if we give either pickup index or drop index only, will it work fine or do we have to give pick-up index and delivery index both?

pickup and delivery indices is only needed if you have a precedence constraint between a pair of locations, otherwise it is totally fine to have independent location (pickup, visit, or delivery).
