Hello Google folks,

I am working on Route optimization and was wondering if there are any courses available out that explain routing with well as google-or tools. It would be very helpful. Courses that explain VRPTW CVRPTW etc.. with google or-tools

Thanks

First, hope you already read https://developers.google.com/optimization/routing
and you should skim through https://github.com/google/or-tools/tree/main/ortools/constraint_solver/samples

Are you looking for or-tools api usage (i.e. samples, examples, snippet etc) ? routing theory and how the solver works ?

Funny you should mention this now, as I was just thinking last week about working up a such a course either as an online offering, or for my local university/alma mater  (UCI) as an extension course or something, but I was worried that focusing on OR Tools might be too limiting for a University course.

But I second the recommendation to study the available resources in the OR Tools documentation site and the examples.  It is obvious a lot of time was put into the documentation site and it provides a good starting point.

Thankyou very much for recommendations. I have already skimmed through developers website of documentation as well as looked at examples on github page infact I am used one of the example as my starting code for cvrptw.

The reason I am looking to understand the concept is currently I am blindly trying to apply stuff on google-or hoping it will work and give me the desired routes (cvrptw). Rather if I knew what was going on I could think and apply things or ask proper specific questions to optimize my solution to the problem.

This was the reason I set out to look for courses that explain VRP VRPTW CVRPTWs and use some kind of coding to explain further (google-or recommended).
