A historic congregation in Chelsea, the Walnut Street Synagogue, is looking for a Chazzan to lead Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services (the Chazzan they had lined up is unable to attend due to health reasons).
Walnut Street will be providing a stipend as well as putting the Chazzan up in a hotel within a short walking distance from the shul.
This is a small yet vibrant and incredibly warm congregation which is committed to continuing to host services in this historic area. Walnut Street is one of the oldest continuously operating synagogues in Massachusetts, with a beautifully painted and acoustic sanctuary. It would be a huge mitzvah to ensure that they can host the chagim as usual this year.
