Dear Team,

After winning their union election in October, B&H employers signed an NLRB settlement with workers agreeing not to violate their labor rights and respect their right to organize and bargain for a fair contract. However, B&H management has refused to allow workers active in their union who were injured on the job to return to their jobs after medical leave without reapplying. They have also slapped workers active in the union with false discipline and threatened to fire them.

WHAT: Jewish leaders and workers from B&H Photo and Video will join together for a press conference in front of the store to demand B&H management end their retaliation against workers and sign a contract that allows for humane and lawful working conditions.

WHO:  Laundry Workers Center and Jews for Racial and Economic Justice            

WHEN: 9:30am on Tuesday, June 14th            

WHERE: On the northeast corner of 34th street and 9th Avenue in Manhattan
