مقترح مجلس الأمناء بتعديل نظام العضوية

السلام عليكم 

مرفق لكم مقترح النظام الجديد لعضوية عقال المقترح من قبل مجلس الأمناء في الاجتماع السابق.

أرجو منكم عرضه للنقاش في مجلس الإدارة وإبداء المقترحات والملاحظات عليه خلال أسبوع من الآن، حتى يتسنى لمجلس الأمناء اتخاذ القرار النهائي في اجتماعه المقبل نهاية هذا الشهر، وذلك للبدء بالعمل بالنظام الجديد ابتداء من يناير 2017.

I'm personally not in support of these measures and I've indicated this in the board of trustees. It's a reflection of our failure to actually raise money and thus we are turning to membership fees. I think 3500 is already high and while i may be open to increase it slightly to 4000 or so, increasing it to 7500 for essentially the same services people have today will lead to us losing our core members. Moreover, the idea of charging members of the board a much higher fees (15000) while they are the ones essentially running the organization is another misplaced incentive.

Let's discuss in our next board meeting and we may then return to Riyadh with our views

I think it's (1) too high and (2) stupid to charge people more money as their time commitment to the organization (committees, board). If anything, those who volunteer their time should pay less/no fees

Totally agree. The increase in membership fees is not justifiable. Moreover, members of the board are dedicating more time and efforts to oversea the chapter. It is not a luxury membership to have at all to justify the 15000 annual fee!

 

We shall not have any increase otherwise, we are being not consistent as we had been revising our fees every year for the last two years!

It should be one fee for all chapters with same benefits and we shall focus in getting more members even if they are not active.
