Hi applicants!
As a reminder, applications for Linux kernel internships are due
tomorrow, May 8th, at 9 AM Pacific Daylight Time. At that point, I will
be making a copy of any linked google docs, so please ensure your google
doc is finalized by 9 AM.
About summer commitments
------------------------
Please note that applicants that have commitments over the summer (e.g.
part-time jobs) will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. The goal is
to ensure that the OPW internship is your main focus for the summer, but
part-time commitments may be okay, depending on the circumstances.
Please put the total number of hours per week you will be working on
periodic commitments (e.g. part-time jobs), and note any vacations or other
commitments you have over the summer, including dates. The more data
you provide us, the better we can evaluate whether you are a good fit.

For those people that joined the mailing list late, the Linux kernel
project is running their OPW application process a bit differently than
what the main website states. Instead of having an application plus an
initial contribution in by May 1st, we are separating the two
requirements.
Deadlines
---------
May 8th, 9 AM, Pacific Daylight Time (PDT):
Finalized application (minus the kernel contribution) must be submitted
to opw-...@gnome.org.
May 17th, 9 AM, Pacific Daylight Time (PDT):
First contribution to the kernel must be submitted to
opw-k...@googlegroups.com.
