Hi there, thanks for inviting me here. Wish there were more people here but anyway, I'll start my first topic asking if you by any chance got to play a bit with SPDY?

Hey Ovidiu,

SPDY-compatability is actually something I've been tinkering with for
a while, and it does work to reduce the amount of bandwidth consumed
by request headers. Unfortunately not many servers support it yet.

It actually looks like one of the next versions of nginx will support it:

http://trac.nginx.org/nginx/ticket/30
http://trac.nginx.org/nginx/milestone/1.3

Then it's definitely something I'd want to add to OCP, to minimize
bandwidth and even troubleshoot a few issues (if you run OCP via cron,
you'll get an email with any errors/HTTP 404, etc.)

If anyone runs a SPDY-site and would like to test a SPDY version of
OCP, please let me know.
