I will be putting up my 1100r for sale and I am posting it on the forum first. The bike has just been serviced by Optibike. The bike has the brand new ( zero miles) improved motor and the brand new improved battery ( 10 % higher capacity ) The entire bike has only about 500 miles on it overall. The new battery is the higher capacity battery that has approximately 10 % more capacity than the previous model. the new motor has a wider range, from what I have been told. The bike has the smallest cog on the rohloff and a 52t front chain ring ( maybe 53 , I will have to count) , so this bike is ready for human assisted efficiency. The bike is White for improved night visibility.
The bike has 1 year left on the warranty, I originally purchased the 3 year warranty.
I also have the aux battery that I plan to sell separately. Shipping the aux battery may present a challenge for me and that is why I believe it best to sell separately.
What can the bike do ?
Most of you know the capabilities of the 1100.
I used it to commute to work which is a 60 mile round trip up a 2000 foot climb ( 30 miles one way). I have made the commute without the aux battery and with it. With the aux battery my time was 1:15. With the new battery in the bike I believe I can shed a couple minutes off my time, traffic lights are the biggest time hang up.
I live in LA if anyone is interested. I will be pricing the bike to move fast hopefully.
I have several bikes and several office locations I report to, so I use different bikes for different commutes. This bike was used for the times I commuted to my most distant office ( thus the low miles on the bike) . I ride to work 2-5 times a week depending on appointment schedules and work load. I live in LA so it rarely rains, when it does i just take my standard non electric bikes. Feel free to repond to this if you are interested.
