I also have the rear fender.  I just did not like the stock fenders to the chain guard.

Nice bike. I have the white R11 too. It looks like you have a tall chainring , 50+ ?
I have a 52 chainring. I also converted the rear sprocket to a 13t, the entire conversion was maybe $100 total. That included an extra sprocket , just in case, and the tool to remove it from the Rohloff. I removed the rear fender like you too. Have fun : )
PS, no Optibike decal on mine, looks even cleaner. What can I say, I hate labels. I asked the builder of my custom Ti to keep their labels off too, even though they are a top bike builder.

I do have a 52t up front what does the rear 13t do for performance? I am going to take the other stickers off. Doing it in stages just to make sure I like it. The tacky 70’s gold R11 were horrible. lol. I would love to get rid of the front headlight,

It's been a while that there has been any discussion about LED headlights for the Opti. Meanwhile the LED lighting market has undergone dramatic improvements and price drops. You can get MR16 form factor LED replacement lamps for under $10 now. And the best quality ones for a few times more than that. I plan on purchasing two of these and will let the group know how that works out. On paper at least the battery usage should be half compared with the Opti standard lamps and the light output should be dramatically greater.

I did the LED sub with MR16's.  Go with the 15 degree, whites because light get's spread out.

It cut consumption in half for equal lumens.

I ended up installing LED bulbs from SORAA. They are fantastic. I'm running an asymmetrical set…10 degrees for one bulb and 14 degrees for the other. They are both the same color temperature. I went with a rather low 4,000 Kelvin but they are still much whiter than stock bulbs. The light quality is excellent as is the spot control. They focus way more light where you need it to be focused. A big improvement over stock. One thing I wasn't so sure about, the SORAA bulbs said "12VAC" on them and nowhere was any mention made that they could run from DC voltage. Not only do they run from DC, they are free of polarity, same as an ordinary filament bulb, so it doesn't matter which way you attach the plug to the terminals. I highly recommend this mod.
