Optibike 850 for sale

Hi all,

I have my Optibike 850 (non Rohloff Hub) for sale.

I am asking $3200 on CL but $2800 to anyone who is a member of this users group.

I have for sale an Optibike 850, no Rohloff hub.

The bike is located in Boulder Colorado, I am posting it here because of the larger market

Recently I took the bike for an extended ride it into Boulder on a 24 mile loop mostly in fast mode and still had just started flashing the yellow light. Oh and that was basically with full throttle and me pedaling very little. Said another way, a high load test vs. pushing it for range.

Updated July 29 2015 I rode into Boulder again on less than a full charge and used the green light up on a 15.3 miles ride pushing hard, fast mode (mostly) and very little pedaling. Here is a YouTube video.

The bike is in excellent condition. I am the second owner. The original owner estimated it had about 1000 easy miles on it. Looks like it and rides like it.

I also own a 1100 and had a 850R before it, sold to a very nice gentlemen in the Bay Area.

The question has been asked, why am I selling the bike, answer is I have two Optibikes, bought this for my son and he does not want it for college. He figured it would be stolen in a day, I am sure he was right.

I can help deliver the bike for shipping once it is paid in full if you are not a local buyer. I live in Boulder Colorado and Optibike is not too far, but they have moved I think closer to Longmont.
