Rear Shock FIxing Safety-Issue

Hi,

this week, on my Optibike (2009Li) one of the fixing screws of the rear-shock was broken.

It was broken between screw shaft and thread. 

The original screw has a short shaft that ends between the shock absorber and rear-frame. At this position the shear-forces are quite strong. and the passing from shaft to thread is the weakest part of the screw.

I replaced it with a screw that has a longer shaft. This shaft ends inside the rear-frame. 

Does anybody have similar experiences?
