Client is seeking to hire an outstanding candidate that is a blend of a Senior Financial Analyst and Senior Data Analyst. The Cloud Business Office FinOps team helps Enterprise maximize the value of its Cloud investments. The team provides detailed cost and usage data to the enterprise and is responsible for managing a consumption-based chargeback program. In addition, the team acts as a trusted advisor to technology partners and helps drives cloud financial optimization by providing education and optimization opportunity data for teams to act on. You will use your business acumen and analytical expertise to perform ad hoc financial analysis and effectively communicate the results to management. Additionally, you will lead efforts to continuously improve processes to increase the speed and effectiveness of financial analysis related to Cloud costs, usage, and optimization. The individual should be well versed in FinOps practices and principles and tools such as Harness CCM and at least 3+ years of experience with cloud cost modeling, cloud management and/or FinOps.Understanding of FinOps principles and desire for continued learning.Experience with public cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cost optimization techniques Analyzes cloud spend, develops monthly/quarterly forecasts, and provides key insights that drive business decisions. Develops ad hoc and on-going cloud financial forecasts and models that assist in making decisions, effectively communicating trends and outcomes. Partners with exceptional software engineering and data teams to curate enterprise-wide reporting, applicable to all technology stakeholders. Creates complex management reports and associated analyses that explain financial results or changes to the forecast or plan, investigating discrepancies and trends to identify business drivers of results. Review the analysis and reports developed by other teammates and contributes to culture of continuous feedback. Power BI, or Excel.
