School Timetable

Hi

I have used optaplanner for a while. I want to build a school timetable. In the demo, we have all timeslots are in the same duration. What can I do if I have tutorial which is one hour and lecture which is two hours? How do I define my timeslot and then make the lecture fit into 2 hour slot but tutorial into 1 hour.

please help if you have experiences on that.

The Time Grain Pattern can handle that,
but it increases the search space (especially with small time grains).
