Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Golang Developer with strong backend development experience to join a dynamic team supporting enterprise applications at American Express. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Golang, microservices, APIs, and cloud technologies. Previous experience working with American Express is mandatory.
Required Skills
10+ years of software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Golang (Go).
Previous American Express (AMEX) experience is mandatory.
Experience designing and developing microservices and REST APIs.
Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalable application design.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Golang.
Design and implement microservices-based solutions.
Collaborate with architects, developers, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Follow Agile development methodologies and best practices.
Preferred
Experience in the Banking or Financial Services domain.
Knowledge of Kafka or other messaging platforms.
Experience working in large enterprise environments.
Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must have prior American Express (AMEX) experience.
