Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced AI Engineer to join a growing team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade AI/ML solutions, with a strong focus on Generative AI, LLMs, and cloud-based AI platforms.
This role requires a hands-on engineer who can work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to build scalable AI applications that drive business value.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of overall IT experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
- Strong experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI-powered applications.
- Experience with Python and AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with Agentic AI, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), prompt engineering, and AI orchestration frameworks.
- Experience deploying AI solutions on cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Strong understanding of vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search technologies.
- Experience building and integrating REST APIs and microservices.
- Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, model monitoring, and AI governance.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Vertex AI, Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, or similar AI services.
- Experience working in large enterprise environments.
- Exposure to data engineering, big data technologies, and cloud-native architectures.
- AI/ML certifications are a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI and Generative AI solutions.
- Build and optimize RAG-based applications and AI agents.
- Integrate LLMs with enterprise systems and business workflows.
- Develop prompt engineering strategies and AI evaluation frameworks.
- Collaborate with architects and business teams to define AI use cases.
- Implement best practices for AI security, governance, and model performance.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve AI applications in production.
