removing chef

Hi,

I ve tried to remove chef server from an ubuntu server. The box is still serving the chef server api webpage, how can i remove this as i want to run nginx on it.

Hi Steve,

I think you should stop Chef server services and then remove it.

For your case, maybe a simple system reboot can solve it.

And this is an old OpenStack Chef maillist, I think you should create a ticket here: https://tickets.opscode.com/browse/CHEF
