[PAX-LOGGING] Releasing 1.11.0 soon?

Hello

After longer-than-expected work, I think master-improvements branch is in good shape now. Jean Babtiste-Onofre fixed PAXLOGGING-257, splitting pax-logging-log4j2 into "core" and "extra" (fragment) bundles, decreasing the number of cases when pax-logging-log4j2 refreshes.

Total number of 91 integration tests pass (90 more than initially ;)).

What do you think about releasing 1.11.0.CR1? Then we can try implementing R7 org.osgi.service.log in 2.0.0.

+1 for 1.11.0, I will test on karaf-4.2.x branch (maybe 1.10.2 to cherry-pick PAXLOGGING-257 is also an option).

Definitely, I would like to update master to 2.0.0 version with OSGi R7 support (PAXLOGGING-255 I started during the week end).

Any news on adding OSGi R7 support?

I tried to build the current master brunch (without -it* modules) but already the API fails to build.

Hello

Out of 5 (yes, 5!) unresolved PAXLOGGING issues, I'd like to tackle "PAXLOGGING-250 Log4j2 - JNDI based JDBC appender should be more lazy" before 1.11.0 release.

2.0.0 release from master branch waits for "PAXLOGGING-255 Upgrade to OSGi R7". +jeanbapti...@gmail.com I'd like to base R7 support on my recent changes (not small...) to 1.11.x branch. master branch was merged with 1.11.x and I simply changed the osgi.cmpn dependency to 7.0.0 (thus compilation problems).
