Pax-exam with java11+ for karaf4

I am trying to get pax-exam testing karaf4 on java11 but looking at the logs, doesn't really tell me anything. It just seems "stuck".

All tests work fine on jave 8, 9 and 10.

Any ideas?

Yes karaf master has been updated to build with jdk 11 including itests.

You can take a look.

Any pointers would be helpful, as just did a quick scan of some of the karaf base classes and dont see any changes since before i asked this.

Hi Gareth,

FYI, this commit

https://github.com/apache/karaf/commit/04eb0044136c292507be3546d2f5ca944cf212db

makes Karaf can work under JDK11, you may need to take a close look at the change in itests part to get more ideas how it works.

Basically you need to add more pax-exam VMOptions for JDK11.
