Hi Guys,

we have a major FUCKUP again with our hosted JIRA.
I really liked our JIRA so far. But right now it is not possible for new users to signup!
1) If they are allowed to sign in - all of a sudden a domain restriction was enabled. We need to verify which domains are valid!
2) they don't have the right credentials to do anything.

We need to find a solution for this ASAP.

I'll try to contact the support first, but maybe we should think of something different.

regards, Achim

What do you mean by "verify which domain"?? Is that email address or what?

Cheers

It is easy to enable "Anyone can Sign up"... I am doing that now.

BTW. thiss is the way it looks right now.

I wasn't able to change it back to "no restrictions"
the safe button just didn't do anything ...

I don't know...  But this is written in Global Permissions;
<quote>
JIRA Users

Ability to log in to JIRA. They are a 'user'. Any new users created will automatically join these groups, unless those groups have JIRA System Administrators or JIRA Administrators permissions.

Note: All users need this permission to log in to JIRA, even if they have other permissions.

</quote>

Could that somehow come into effect? I can't find those permissions (haven't admin'd Jira for many years and versions.)

Hi Niclas,

I've been running around that topic now for a couple of weeks, but I can't find to add more roles per default, cause people now have access but can't add a new issue (for example)
They need more roles which I didn't find a "button" to add per default :s

Wasn't it Toni that arrange the jira.com in the first place?? He might have direct access to support....
