www.ops4j.org work around?

Hi,

This may have been discussed here already, but I couldn't find it.

I am running pax-runner from maven, but for a couple of weeks now, the startup stalls after the Pax Runner logo, I assume because the ops4j.org website (domain) is down. Running mvn with the -o option for now, but wondering what, if any, the work around it.

I think I mentioned this indirectly to Toni privately about 2 weeks
ago. There is references to Pax Runner's source repository in the
paxrunner.properties. It is to find profiles, I think.

I think it is possible to override the paxrunner.properties file, but
not 100% sure.

In any event, a new release is desperately needed,

Properties can be overriden by property (documented in wiki) as well as by class path.
I need to check with Dmytro as he was working on a new release already.

@Niclas, can you re-add meaningful redirects for www.ops4j.org and ops4j.org. To team.ops4j.org i would suggest.

You are the only one with DNS access for ops4j.org, correct?

Well, "redirects" are not DNS as far as I know. It has always been
part of the web server to do this.

SO, unless you can tell me what you want in the DNS records
explicitly, I don't think I can help.

Either make ops4j.org and www.ops4j.org redirect to team.ops4j.org

or

make both point to 5.9.73.199 (which is pumpkincay.rebaze.io the new CI Machine), then i'll do the apache work.

Interestingly enough, the 207.223.242.218 IP for ops4j.jira.com is
dedicated to OPS4J and not running as a virtual host. Done.

"Redirect" is an incorrect term. DNS only 'resolves' from host name to
IP number. 'redirect' is a webserver thing. And I asked for the DNS
records, not a flimsy, inaccurate, vague "do something"...
