Hi Toni,

among the usual Ubuntu package upgrades, there was a kernel upgrade
about a week ago. I upgraded the kernel along with everything else but
did not reboot the machine, since there was a warning about installing
Grub on the disks.

This seems to be caused by the Hetzner RAID and it should be safe to
simply confirm installation of Grub on both disks, or that's what Google
told me, but for fear of breaking anything and locking myself out, I did
not reboot the server at that time.

There is now another kernel update pending, so I'm not sure how to
proceed. At the very least, we should make sure we can restart the
machine using the rescue system if anything is f*cked up.

If you feel confident enough about all that Hetzner tooling, then please
do press the red button and let's keep fingers crossed...

At any rate, I think we should sort this out before changing the SSH
configuration.

Cheers,
Harald

Yeah true. Kernel updates can be nasty. For starters i ordered one of the 100GB free backup slots we got with our accounts. Not sure if it helps but we wont lose data at least.
Let you know..
