His Vyasasidhantha Marthandam is a famous work and a guide for Sri Bashya Adhikars for their kalakshepams etc It was published in 1929. Sri V.Vsrinivasa Iyengar has written a foreword for this. Instead of scanning I typed this in word and sending the PDF file now. I hope you will enjoy.

. He lived in Mylapore ( One of the proverbial Mylapore Vakkeel) at Luz
Corner.His Commentary on Srimath RaamAyaNam is an magnificent book
. He wrote Many forewords and Introductions in English to PoorvAchArya Sri
Sooktis such as the allegorical drama ( NaaDakam) of Sankalpa SooryOdhayam of
Swamy Desikan , VyAsa SiddhAnta MartANDam et al .
adiyEn has been
fortunate to recieve a copy of that VVS preface from the Kumaarar (Sri
S.Rajagopalan) of PudukkOttai Mahaa VidwAn , VaikunThavAsi Sri
SrinivAsa Raghavachaar Swamy . I will share that brilliant and insightful
introduction on Sankalpa SooryOdhayam in a subsequent posting
.
Today , I want to
share with you another preface of Sri V.V.SrinivAsa IyengAr on a great Sri
VaishNavite AchArya , MahaamahOpAdhyAya ( a title given by the British
Government in India) Sri Kapistalam Swamy , who was a Faculty Member at
Thirupati Venkateswara Oriental College . The preface is
for VyAsa
SiddhAnta
MaartANDam , a lofty work created for the benefit of the KaalakshEpa AdhikAris
of SrI BhAshyam by Kapistalam Swamy; He was a great scholar in Tarkam and
in this work , he establishes rigorously that the Brahma Sutrams ( VyAsa
SiddhAntam/Doctrines) do not support advaita VedAntam
or
other doctrines .He conclusively establishes that
VyAsa Siddhantam supports only the VisishtAdhvaitic darsanam . He described
his work ( VyAsa SiddhAnta MaartANDam ) as the MaartANDan (Resplendent Sun) ,
which dispells the darkness and doubts that enshroud the doctrines of Veda VyAsa
.

Swamy was a contemproary of great VaishNava AchAryaas like
Svacchandham Swamy
, HH the 41st and the 42nd Pattam Azhagiya Singars ,
UtthamUr Swamy ,

Dear ShrI Sadagopan Sir:
I have heard from my father that ShrI V.V. Srinivasa Iyengar used to keep a stack of Dhotis (10x6) so that whoever (VaideekAs) visited his house would be gifted with one. That period must have been a great period in India - people like Rajaji, VV srinivasa Iyengar and so on - so inspiring. I have also heard that a poor Brahmana met VVS swamin at a pond and requested him for Brahmanaartham not really knowing who VvS Swamin was and it seems Swamin immediately responded to his request.
