You can find more information about our participation in GSoC in the Oppia wiki. For example, here's our GSoC 2023 page. The bottom of the wiki sidebar also has links to GSoC pages from previous years.

In general, we plan to participate in GSoC each year (subject to being accepted as a participating organization by Google). However, please note that project ideas are typically only published sometime in January/February on the relevant GSoC wiki page. If you're reading this message before then, we'd encourage you to become familiar with the codebase in the meantime, and try out a couple of starter issues to get your feet wet!
