Hi all,
(If you're not participating in GSoC this year, you can ignore this email.)
I wanted to make a quick announcement that Oppia has been selected as a participating organization for
Google Summer of Code this year!
We have published our list of project ideas, and other instructions on our wiki page.
We are planning to have a Q&A session this weekend at 10:00 PM IST (8:30 AM PT, 4:30 PM UTC) on March 12th. We hope this will be helpful for applicants. If you'd like to attend, please fill out this form by Friday, March 11th.
There has been an update to the descriptions of project 1.6 and 1.9. If you haven't taken a look at the project ideas page recently, it might be a good idea to do so. Here is a brief description of the changes:
- Project 1.6 has been updated to include adding buttons to type new characters into math input fields.
- Project 1.9 has a new section for "learner dashboard onboarding" whose design is left to the applicant.
Thanks,
Srijan on behalf of the GSoC org. admins
