GSoC 2022 project ideas published

Hi all,

Oppia is excited to be applying for participation in Google Summer of Code 2022! We won't know for sure whether we'll be participating until the GSoC 2022 mentoring organizations are announced on March 7, 2022, but in the meantime, we've published the list of project ideas on our wiki page!

You can start thinking about the projects and seeing which ones you would like to work on over the summer. Please do not send your project proposals to us yet, as we will not be reviewing them before March 7. We recommend making sure that you have a good understanding of the topic of the project you’re interested in, since this will help you with writing a good proposal. You might also like to work on some issues that relate to the general team whose project you are interested in.

We also recommend reading through the GSoC wiki page again as we've changed some things and expanded some sections.

Finally, if you're interested in participating in GSoC this year, please make sure that you're on the oppia-gsoc-announce mailing list, since that's where we plan to send out future announcements about GSoC 2022 (and beyond).
