COMMUNITY LIFE
Sunday, December 6, A Celebration of Carols: Join our choir and orchestra for an evening of learning about and singing our most beloved Christmas carols at 6:00 PM. Our young piano students will be providing a prelude beginning at 5:45 PM. There will be a reception afterwards.
Poinsettias: We will decorate our sanctuary with poinsettias, beginning December 13. If you would like to honor a loved one by purchasing poinsettia(s) for $8.00 each, please fill out a form located at the Welcome Desk or you may email the office at off...@opnazarene.org. Please place your donation marked “Poinsettia” in the offering plate. They may be taken home following the Christmas Eve service.
Mesdames, Thursday, December 10 Mesdames Christmas luncheon will be at the Webster House followed by the Antique Gallery. Meet in the church parking lot at 10:15 AM to carpool. All ladies are invited.
Afternoon Caroling to Shut-ins: On Sunday, December 13, 2:30-4:30 PM you are invited to go caroling with the choir. We will meet at the church, form groups, and receive our caroling assignments. Come help us encourage those of our number who are rarely able to attend our services.
Christmas Eve Communion Service: On December 24, 6:30 PM -7:30 PM, our church family will celebrate the beginning of the Christmas season together.
Christmas Card Post Office: Bring your Christmas cards and drop them in the file folders located in the foyer. These are alphabetized for last names to make it easy to find your friends folder and to pick up your own cards.
Nazarene Theological Seminary will host a Christmas Carol Sing Thursday, December 10, 7:00 – 8:00 PM in the J.B. Chapman Memorial Chapel. The Carol Sing will be followed by light refreshments. The Seminary is located at 1700 E. Meyer Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64131 (Info by phone 816.268.5402 or online at nts.edu/carol-sing.)

PULSE & ONE MINISTRIES
Connect Groups: For the next few weeks, we will be joining our church in several activities. Tonight (Sunday), please join us in the sanctuary at 6:00 PM to sing Christmas Carols. Next week, we will be visiting some of our church members who are unable to worship with us on Sunday mornings.
Pulse: Join us Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30 PM in the youth room.
Christmas Party: Mark your calendars for our annual Pulse Christmas Party on Sunday, December 20th. We'll have a white elephant gift exchange and some other fun Christmas games!
New Year's Eve Lock-in: Invite your friends to celebrate the New Year with us! We'll enjoy a full night of games, movies, and underground church! Join us from 8:00 PM on December 31 until
8:00 AM on January 1.
CHILDREN MINISTRIES
Children’s Church Today (Sunday): Children (1st-5th) are invited to join us downstairs in the Children’s Worship Center after the reading of the Gospel for a Mission lesson.
Quizzers will meet for bible quizzing on Wednesdays from 6:45-7:45 PM on December 9 and 16.
Christmas Party, December 13 following Morning Worship: We will share in a potluck lunch and then make some cards to take to our shut-ins during the caroling event.
