COMMUNITY LIFE

 

 

There will be a  Nicaragua Work and Witness Service with Rev. Rickie & Bub Honea, Sunday, May 1st during Morning Worship service. A love offering will be taken.

 

New Sunday Evening Praise Gathering: Join us in the Activity Center this coming Sunday night at 6:00 PM for a new and special event.  

 

There will be an Important VBS workers meeting, next Sunday, May 1st following the morning worship service. It is for ALL who plan to help with VBS.  A pizza lunch will be provided.

 

You are invited to a Wedding Shower for Will Turner and Courtney Smith on Wednesday, May 4th at 6:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall. They are registered at Amazon, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Crate & Barrel.

 

Help send a child to summer camp. Please consider a donation. Mark your memo line on your check "Kids Camp" and place in the offering plate.

Graduation Sunday: On Sunday, May 15th, we will have the opportunity to celebrate our high school graduates. Following our morning worship, we will share a potluck lunch together and shower our graduates with cards of encouragement.

 

Annual Meeting Part 1, Church Elections will be held after morning worship on Sunday, May 22nd. All church members, age 15 years or older are urged to participate.

 

Surf Shack, Riding the Wave of God's Great Love is coming to Overland Park Church of the Nazarene, June 6-10!  If you are interested in helping in any way during Vacation Bible School, please see Pastor Grant or Karla Christy.

 

PULSE & ONE MINISTRIES

 

Connect Groups: Join us Sunday Evening at 6 PM for the Sunday Evening Praise Gathering! Please also look out for a special meeting coming up on Saturday, May 7.

Pulse: We will meet this Wednesday at 6:30PM. We will not meet May 4th & 11th due to finals and graduation, but will resume May 18th

MNU Admissions Team: On Sunday, May 15th, an MNU admissions counselor will join us for Sunday School to talk about college. Please mark this date on the calendar to be on time at 9:30 AM.

CHILDREN MINISTRIES

Children’s Church: Children (1st 5th) are invited to join us downstairs in Room 103 after the reading of the Gospel for a Missions lesson.
