Sunday, November 22 Bulletin Announcements:
COMMUNITY LIFE
Thanksgiving Offering: Today (Sunday) we will receive our annual Thanksgiving Offering for World Evangelism. The needs of our world are great. Thank you for your continued faithfulness in giving.
Advent Decorating: Make plans to help today (Sunday) immediately following morning worship service. See Diana Milkowski for more information.
The regular Wednesday evening activities will not meet this week.
Thanksgiving Office Schedule: The office will be closed on Thursday (Nov. 26) and Friday (Nov. 27) for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Common Ground Breakfast will not be served next Sunday, November 29 (Thanksgiving weekend).
Advent/Christmas Around the World: Wednesdays, December 2, 9 and 16. Join us at 6:45 PM in the Activity Center as we learn how Christians all over the world celebrate this most holy of seasons. These events are for the whole family. Food, cultural practices, and special celebrations will be shared. Everyone is invited.
A Celebration of Carols: Join our choir and orchestra for an evening of singing our most beloved Christmas carols at 6:00 PM on Sunday,
December 6. There will be a reception afterwards.
Come sing with the choir or play with the orchestra for A Celebration of Carols: Rehearsal is Saturday, December 5 at 10:00 AM (orchestra) and
11:00 AM (choir). Talk to Pastor Vicki if you have questions.
Christmas Eve Communion Service—On December 24, from 6:30 PM until 7:30 PM, our church family will celebrate the beginning of the Christmas season together.
A very special thank you goes out to Lori Holmes and the many volunteers who worked hard to pull off another fantastic Thanksgiving meal!
PULSE & ONE MINISTRIES
Connect Groups: Please join us tonight (Sunday) at the church from 6:30-8:30 PM for a shared meal together, board games, and a hantis tournament!
Pulse: We will not meet this Wednesday. Beginning next week, December 2nd, we will join our entire church at 6:45 PM for a special Advent study including snacks, games, and a look at what Christmas is like around the globe.
Parent's Night Out: On Saturday, December 5th, we will have the opportunity to help the families of our church by providing childcare from
4-8 PM. Please take the time to serve with us. Any funds donated will be distributed into the youth accounts of those who volunteer
CHILDREN MINISTRIES
Children, first thru fifth grade will remain in the service today (Sunday).
Parent’s Night Out, Saturday, Dec. 5, 4:00-8:00 PM. Fun, games, and food will be provided for the kids (infant thru 5th grade) while parent’s have 4 hours to themselves. Donations will be received that night tor the youth accounts to help cover camp costs, etc.
Christmas Party, Dec. 13 following Morning Worship: We will share in a potluck lunch and then make some cards to take to our shut-ins during the caroling event.
