COMMUNITY LIFE
Wednesday Night Meals, 6:00 PM in the Activity Center: Come for good food and fellowship around the table. ELL, Youth and Children’s programming will follow. Donation is $5 per person or $15 max per family.
Small Group Informational Meeting on Wednesday Night September 23 at 6:45 PM: Members of our small groups will come together to share about their experiences in small groups. If you are interested in starting a small group or in being a part of a small group, please come join us to hear about this exciting ministry. For more information, talk to Pastor Grant or Pastor Vicki.
Youth Fall Retreat: On Friday, September 25, our youth group will leave on a weekend retreat. Our time will be spent refocusing our lives on God, and asking God to direct our future. Please join us in praying that this would be a formational time for all our students and staff.
Faith Promise, Sunday, October 4, 10:45 AM: In morning worship we will be joined by special missionary guests for our annual Faith Promise Weekend. Please be in prayer as we prepare our hearts for the opportunity to support missions work around the world. At 4:00 PM we will meet at the Milkowski’s located at 22471 W 220th St, Spring Hill KS 66083, for a hayride and bonfire. The church will provide the meat, last names beginning with A-L can bring a side dish, M-Z please bring a dessert or something to drink.
Wednesday Night Book Study begins October 7 at 6:45 PM: Plan now to attend a six-week study on Dan Boone’s book, “Charitable Discourse.” Pastor Vicki (later joined by Pastor Phil) will lead the study on this book that teaches us how to talk about the divisive issues of our day. More information and a sign-up list are at a table in the foyer.
Work Day: Thanks to John and Paula Harms, Dan and Linda Harmon, Joe Milkowski and Nan He for their work on landscaping and wood repair on our property! Thanks also to Joseph Roberts and friend Glen Mc Knight (a retired brick mason) who volunteered their time and expertise to rebuild the weakened brick pillar outside the nursery entrance. Our next work day is October 10. Please plan to come and help us keep our church property properly maintained and looking good.
PULSE & ONE MINISTRIES
Connect Groups: Please join us tonight (Sunday) at Church from 6:30-8:30 PM. We will pray, play, and share life together. Please bring a drink to share with everyone.
Pulse: Join us for worship, prayer, and some fun games! This week, we'll continue to talk about stewarding our time and keeping our foundation upon Christ.
ONE Young Adult Ministry: The next Young Adult gathering will begin at 7:30 PM on Friday, September 25 at the Kim's house.
CHILDREN MINISTRIES
Children, first thru fifth grade will remain in the service today (Sunday) for communion.
Wednesdays for Kids, Pre-K through 5th grade: Join us from 6:45-8:15 PM for a middle of the week Bible Lesson and fun activities.
Dads! It's your turn for a night out! Mark your calendar for Thursday, October 22nd! More details to follow.

Save the date! On December 5th from 4-8 PM we will have a PARENTS NIGHT OUT! Drop your child(ren) (age birth through 5th grade) off for a fun filled evening while you enjoy an evening out! More details to come.
