Reminder:
Renewal Weekend with Rev. Al Dicer, November 6-8—Our renewal weekend will begin tonight with a service of prayer and dedication beginning at 7 PM in the Sanctuary. On Saturday evening at 6 PM, we will have an all-church potluck in the Activity Center with Rev. Dicer speaking. Last names that begin with A-L, please bring a main dish and a salad, fruit or dessert. Last names M-Z, please bring a main dish and a vegetable (or a combination dish with meat and vegetables). Sunday services at 10:45 AM and 6 PM will be services of renewal and challenge. Plan to be part of the whole weekend!

Mesdames, Thursday, November 12, 11:00 AM in the church Fellowship Hall: Holiday Foods Tasting. Bring a special or traditional Holiday food to share. Christina Yeh will share with us about her life. All ladies are invited!
Please come join us in sprucing up and organizing the Children's Wing on Saturday morning, November 14, starting at 8:30 AM. We have many projects for young and old alike. See Pastor Grant, Karla, or John Harms for more information."
A Wedding Shower for Katie Hubacker and John Donaldson will be Sunday, November 15th at 3 PM in the Fellowship Hall. They are registered at Pottery Barn, Target and Amazon. A December wedding is planned in California.
All-church Thanksgiving Dinner, Wednesday, November 18 at 6:00 PM: Please sign up in your Sunday School class or at the Welcome Desk if you plan to come. Volunteers are needed to make pies. We are collecting items for the KC Rescue Mission and True Light Ministries during the months of November and December. In the foyer you'll see a white Joshua Tree with donation options hanging from the branches; please take a minute to look through the cards and take one or two home. Donations can be dropped off in designated boxes in the church foyer. Thank you for being a light in our community!

PULSE & ONE MINISTRIES
Connect Groups: Tonight, we will be joining our church for a special service of spiritual renewal. Please join us at 6:00 PM this evening!
Pulse: This week, concludes our study of A Charitable Discourse. This has been a great opportunity for us to engage difficult issues through intergenerational conversation, and I encourage you all to attend this final week!
Breakaway: Breakaway is this Friday, November 13! The evening begins at First Church at 8:00 PM but we will be carpooling from Overland Park at 7:40 PM. If you would like to attend and you have not already talked to Pastor Travis, please see him immediately!
CHILDREN MINISTRIES
Children, first thru fifth grade will remain in the service today (Sunday). On Sunday, November 15, the children will meet for a Missions lesson.
Wednesdays for Kids, Pre-K through 5th grade: Join us from 6:45-8:15 PM for a middle of the week Bible Lesson and fun activities.
