Reminder: 50th Anniversary Carry-in Banquet, Saturday, January 16 at 6:00 PM in the Activity Center. All are invited to help celebrate!
Carry-in Banquet Details: Last names A-L, please bring a main dish and a salad, fruit or dessert; Last names M-Z, please bring a main dish and a vegetable (or a combination dish with meat and vegetables).
Please note that we won’t have Sunday School this Sunday, January 17. A light Continental Breakfast will be available in the Activity Center beginning at 9:30 AM. The MidAmerica Nazarene University Heritage Choir will begin our prelude at 10:30 AM with 15 minutes of music before our Morning Worship service begins at 10:45 AM.

Homecoming Choir: We would like to invite former choir members to sing with us at the Homecoming Service this afternoon. There will be a brief rehearsal at 3:00 PM downstairs in the Fellowship Hall.

In celebration of six years of ministry among us by Pastor Vicki Copp, the Church Board is recommending a Love Offering to express our appreciation. If you would like to participate in this offering you may do so by marking your offering 'Pastoral Love Offering' and placing it in the offering on the next two Sundays as well as giving online (select 'other' and then note 'Love Offering' in the explanation). Pastor Vicki's last Sunday with us is January 24. We hope to be able to complete the Love Offering by the last Sunday of the month (the 31st). Let's continue to pray for Pastor Vicki (and Dan) as she seeks the Lord's guidance for the next step as she pursues God's call. —The Church Board
Farewell Reception for Pastor Vicki Copp and Dan Copp: Sunday, January 24 at 6:00 PM. Join us in the Activity Center for a time of thanks and appreciation for the Copp’s ministry among us.
District T.E.A.M. Day, Saturday, February 27, 8 AM – 1 PM at Olathe College Church. (Coffee at 7:30, onsite registration at 8). You will be challenged with relevant workshops for children, youth and adult ministries. Contact the church office by February 15th, if you would like to attend.
Inclement Weather and Cancellations: All church ministry cancellations due to inclement weather will be broadcast on major local TV networks: KMBC 9, KCTV 5, Fox 4, KSHB 41 and communicated through an all-church email as soon as a decision is made. PULSE & ONE MINISTRIES
Pulse: How do we live in the world but not of the world? For the next few weeks, we will be going through a new series: Eyes to See. We'll have some fun listening to contemporary songs and watching movie clips so that we can discern how God calls us to be holy in a fallen world.
Connect Groups: Please join us this afternoon at 3:30 PM as we continue celebrating our church's 50th anniversary!
Chili Cook-Off & Auction: Mark your calendars! Our second annual Chili Cook-Off will be Saturday, March 5. Start thinking of where you could pick up some auction items so that we can raise money for camp and other activities!
CHILDREN MINISTRIES
Children, first thru fifth grade will remain in the service today.
We will have quiz practice on Wednesdays in January from 6:45-7:45 PM. Normal scheduled activities will resume in February.
