COMMUNITY LIFE
Wednesday Night Meals, 6:00 PM in the Activity Center: Come for good food and fellowship around the table. ELL, Youth and Children’s programming will follow. Donation is $5 per person or $15 max per family.
OPN ChildSafe Meeting, Wednesday, September 30 at 6:45 PM: If you are interested in becoming a volunteer with our children or youth, or are a current volunteer and would like a refresher, please join us for this mandatory OPN ChildSafe orientation. See Pastor Grant if you have any questions.
Faith Promise, Sunday, October 4, 10:45 AM: In morning worship we will be joined by special missionary guests for our annual Faith Promise Weekend. Please be in prayer as we prepare our hearts for the opportunity to support missions work around the world. At 4:00 PM we will meet at the Milkowski’s located at 22471 W 220th St, Spring Hill KS 66083, for a hayride and bonfire. The church will provide the meat, last names beginning with A-L can bring a snack, M-Z please bring something to drink. Remember to bring your lawn chairs!
Wednesday Night Book Study begins October 7 at 6:45 PM: Plan now to attend a six-week study on Dan Boone’s book, “Charitable Discourse.” Pastor Vicki (later joined by Pastor Phil) will lead the study on this book that teaches us how to talk about the divisive issues of our day. More information and a sign-up list are at a table in the foyer.
Work Day, Saturday, October 10, 8:30 AM: Please plan to come and help us keep our church property properly maintained and looking good. Contact John Harms for more information.
During October we pause to express appreciation to our pastors for their care for us. It is difficult to adequately thank them for how selflessly and faithfully they offer their lives to us in ministry. No doubt throughout the year you express your gratitude. However, please take advantage of this special window to say an extra thank you, stop and pray with a pastor, send a note saying how much they mean to you, and in other specific ways thank God for these dedicated servants. They continually exemplify to us of the love of God. The pastoral staff are listed on the last page of the bulletin. —Personnel Committee
PULSE & ONE MINISTRIES
Connect Groups: We will not have our normal Connect Group gathering tonight (Sunday) because of our Fall Retreat. Enjoy time with family!
Pulse: Join us for worship, prayer, and some fun games! This week, we'll continue to talk about stewarding our time and keeping our foundation upon Christ.
Student Events: Pastors Travis and Rachel love to attend your games, concerts, and other extra-curricular events. Please give us a copy of your schedules so we can cheer you on!
CHILDREN MINISTRIES
Children’s Church Today (Sunday): Children (1st-5th) are invited to join us downstairs in Room 103 after the reading of the Gospel for a Missions lesson.
Wednesdays for Kids, Pre-K through5th grade: Join us from 6:45-8:15 PM for a middle of the week Bible Lesson and fun activities.
Dads! It's your turn for a night out! Mark your calendar for Thursday, October 22nd! More details to follow.

Save the date! On December 5th from 4-8 PM we will have a PARENTS NIGHT OUT! Drop your child(ren) (age birth through 5th grade) off for a fun filled evening while you enjoy an evening out! More details to come.
