For me, is a no brainer, im really liking this compression, but i didn't use the original hardware, whatever its mark was, so i can't compare them.

Can say, that if u want a compressor for taming voices, without being so aggresive, u know -2 -3 dbs compression on low ratios for tracking and printing, for me, its the way to go, all over 2A really slight compression but taming spikes, and making the mid range not that harshy while keeping its character, if u are looking something like this, this is your compressor

I have a lot of Compressors from uaudio teletronics, distressor, avalon, 1176s , manley, etc but this one is different. Very transparent very easy to use! Great sound! One of the best for vocals for example and well known for that. Very happy to have it. Always in my sessions now.
