So... device is iPhone 6S on iOS 9.3.1. The problem is that the new Facebook and Messenger app do not allow me to make or receive Facebook calls. However, if I install an older version of Facebook that I got off of an old iPhone 4S on iOS 6, it works. So, I would like to keep the functionality of the new Facebook app as well as the Messenger app, but would like to install the second Facebook app in order to make Facebook calls.

If you want Chrome to update its extensions immediately, you can do so by going to the Chrome Extensions management page (via the "More tools" / "Extensions" menu at the top right of the browser) then make sure the "Developer Mode" switch is turned on at the top of the page, then click the "Update" button that will be showing at the top of the page.
After updating, if you have any open Facebook pages, you will need to reload them to get the new version of the extension to run on them.

You can transfer settings between different versions of FBP by using the "Export Settings" and "Import Settings" links at the bottom of the FBP options screen. You appear to be using Internet Explorer, unfortunately F.B. Purity is not and will not be made available for Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer is an unsafe browser. Why not try installing one of the web browsers that it is available for: Microsoft Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Opera, or Maxthon seriously, you wont regret it.
Please Note: If you already have FBP installed and wish to update FBP, you should know that Edge extension updates need to be manually vetted and approved by Microsoft Staff before they can be published, so you may need to wait a day or so after a new version of FBP is released, before you can get the update. You should also know that the Edge browser updates its extensions automatically when new versions become available.
If you know that it is compatible with one of those browsers, you are welcome to try the corresponding version of F.B. Purity via the browser links above. If your browser has a Greasemonkey compatbile extension available, you can try installing that and then install the GM Script version of F.B. Purity.
If none of those suggestions work, why not try installing one of the previously mentioned, supported browsers, you might just like it :) If you don't have installation rights to install software on your computer, you could try using a "portable" version of one of the supported browsers that you can run directly from a USB stick drive. The advantage of having it on a USB drive, is your favourite browser and custom FBP settings will go with you wherever you go.

Hello,
I have the Facebook app installed on my iPad.
I have my iPad setup so that the entire OS is in dark mode.
However, this doesn't seem to apply to the Facebook app on my iPad.
When I open the app, the entire screen turns white, which is very glaring, & hurts my eyes.
I have the exact same setup on my iPhone 13 pro max, & it works perfectly fine there.
Both devices are running the beta of iOS 16, & the latest version of the Facebook app.
How can I fix this?

Hi, try diving into your Facebook settings and manually turn it on. I've found that I've had to do this after re-installing Facebook on my phone. For some reason it doesn't detect your phone's settings.
Then go back to your older iPad, open the iOS App Store, go to the Purchases section of the store app, search for the app/s you wish to try and download to that older iPad and see if an older version of the app is allowed to be downloaded/installed to that older iPad.
