Dear all,
Please see the attached Substance Abuse Policy, which will be reviewed tomorrow at OpCom at 7:40 PM. I have made some changes that reflect concerns expressed at OpCom, in the Cabinet meeting, and also some wordsmithing improvements suggested by Jan, and also other changes to make the adjudication processes more clear and more fair.
I thought of making this a google doc, but then it's difficult to include everyone on opfeed as well.
Please send any suggested changes to me over the next 24 hours if possible.
Note that this does not vary substantially from our current Substance Abuse policies -- it just makes the process, purpose, and rationale clearer, and also provides guidelines for what to consider when deciding on consequences.
